At the Canadian Center for Counselling and Psychotherapy, we are proud to provide professional, compassionate, and culturally respectful counselling services for eligible First Nations and Inuit individuals through the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program.
Mental health challenges can affect anyone at any stage of life. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or the impacts of intergenerational trauma, our experienced therapists are here to support your healing journey.
We offer both virtual counseling across Canada, making it easier to access the support you need in a way that feels comfortable and accessible.
As an approved NIHB provider, we offer direct billing to NIHB whenever eligible, helping reduce financial barriers so you can focus on your well-being rather than paperwork. The NIHB program provides coverage for eligible mental health counseling services for registered First Nations and recognized Inuit individuals.
The Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program is a federal health benefits program that provides coverage for eligible First Nations and Inuit people across Canada.
