Expertise
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and has completed the Bridge to Registration and Employment in Mental Health (BREM) program in Ontario for internationally trained mental health professionals. Before coming to Canada, I practiced as a psychologist in the Philippines, offering services in South East Asia (I.e. Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.). I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), and the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP).
Areas of Expertise & Specialization:
I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, or the effects of trauma. Many of my clients are newcomers, immigrants, students, or professionals who are juggling high demands while quietly feeling exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode.
I provide a supportive, trauma-informed space where we make sense of what you’re carrying and how it’s showing up in your thoughts, emotions, and body. Together, we focus on both insight and practical skills, so you’re not just understanding yourself better, but also learning tools you can use in everyday life. You can expect help with emotional regulation, self-compassion, boundaries, and building a sense of steadiness during times of change.
My approach is holistic and flexible, grounded in the understanding that the mind and body are always connected. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your pace and needs.
My clinical training began in the Philippines, where I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology, and my work in Canada has allowed me to support people from many cultural and life backgrounds. As an immigrant and long-term student myself, I understand how transitions, pressure, and identity shifts can affect wellbeing.

Education & Accomplishments

- Master’s degree in Psychology
I use a flexible, integrative approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based methods while tailoring our work to what fits you best. This includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help shift unhelpful thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support values-based living, and mindfulness-based practices to build awareness and emotional regulation. I also integrate skills from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to support coping and balance, Motivational Interviewing to help you reconnect with your own motivation for change, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work to explore different parts of you with curiosity, and trauma-focused approaches such as EMDR. Throughout our work, I pay close attention to the nervous system and the mind–body connection, helping you feel safer, steadier, and more grounded over time.
