Expertise

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a true partnership. I take a client-centered
approach—you're the expert on your life, and I’m here to walk alongside you.
My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t linear. I started with a Master’s in Physical
Education with a focus on Sport and Mental Performance and then spent nearly 20
years in aviation before returning to school to earn my Master’s in Counselling
Psychology. Now, as a Registered Clinical Counsellor in BC, I support clients through
trauma, PTSD, anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem, and relationship challenges.
I’m certified in EMDR and use it often. It’s a versatile therapy that supports healing from
trauma, shifts limiting beliefs, enhances performance, and much more.
This work is deeply meaningful to me, and it’s an honor to be invited into people’s
stories.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ll take time to get to know each other, talk about what’s bringing you in, and explore your goals. You’re welcome to ask questions and share at your own pace.

Most clients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions. Some come for short-term support, others for deeper, longer-term work. We’ll find what fits you best.

Not at all. Many people come to therapy to explore personal growth, manage stress, navigate life transitions, or deepen self-awareness.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps the brain process stuck or distressing memories. It’s often used for trauma, but also for anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, and performance issues.

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (like eye movements, tapping, or sounds) while you recall a distressing memory. This helps your brain reprocess the memory in a way that feels less charged and more adaptive.

It depends on your history, goals, and how your nervous system responds. Some people notice changes quickly, while others benefit from a longer process. EMDR follows a structured protocol—with a beginning, middle, and end—and we’ll regularly check in to adjust as needed.

Not necessarily. EMDR can work without sharing all the details—your comfort and sense of safety guide the pace.
